These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any part you purchase from Car Part Headquarters (“we,” “us,” or the “Company”). By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

Car Part Headquarters, LLC is a nationwide distributor of used and remanufactured engines and transmissions - not a broker. As a 3rd-generation auto parts supplier with a wide network of inventory yards and distribution centers, we source, test, and ship replacement engines, transmissions, and related components directly to our customers.

Any price shown instantly on this website is a ballpark only. A specialist confirms the exact price, availability, and mileage for your vehicle before you pay. Pricing depends on the year, make, and model, the mileage, and the specific part - a 4-cylinder economy engine and a diesel truck engine are very different jobs. All charges are disclosed to you before payment.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), as well as Zelle, ACH, and cashier’s checks or money orders by mail. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. Payments mailed to us take longer to clear; we verify a mailed payment before your part ships.

Shipping is free to a commercial business address or local freight terminal and typically arrives in 5-7 business days. Residential delivery is $175 and includes a liftgate, a smaller delivery truck and a scheduled appointment. We ship to the lower 48 only. We are an online business with no walk-in sales or local pickup; orders ship from multiple supplier locations throughout the lower 48.

A used engine assembly includes the main internal parts - block, head, piston, camshaft, and crankshaft - and other core components. It does not include the AC compressor, starter, alternator, or power steering pump. Any additional parts left on the engine block are included for your convenience but are not covered by warranty.

Every engine and transmission carries a 12-month parts-replacement warranty on the assembly, plus lifetime support from ASE-certified experts. Approved claims are resolved by replacement or store credit - we do not issue cash refunds. Labor is not covered on the standard warranty. A 3-year parts and labor warranty is available for $499, purchased at the time of order. The warranty covers the main internal components; auxiliary items (sensors, electronics, water pump, gaskets, and similar bolt-on parts) are not covered. The full written warranty terms are provided with your order and govern in case of any conflict.

Inspect your part on delivery and report any issue within 30 days. A warranty claim requires a diagnostic report from an ASE-certified mechanic, and the part must be installed within 90 days of purchase. Damage from overheating or lack of lubrication voids the warranty. Orders cancelled more than 24 hours after purchase may be subject to a restocking fee plus two-way shipping. You are responsible for providing an accurate year, make, model, and VIN so we can confirm the correct part. We match every engine and transmission to the information you give us; inaccurate vehicle details can result in the wrong part being shipped.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability arising out of or relating to your order is limited to the purchase price of the part. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including labor, loss of use, lost profits, or costs of substitute transportation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

By requesting a quote, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message, and email regarding your quote and order. Message and data rates may apply. We work to keep this site accurate, but content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Prices, availability, and shipping times may change without notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
