Yes. Every used engine and transmission is compression- and oil-pressure tested and put through a rigorous inspection process by automotive experts before they ship.

What warranty comes with a part?

Every engine and transmission includes a 12-month parts-replacement warranty, plus lifetime support from ASE-certified experts. Approved claims are handled by replacement or store credit - we do not issue cash refunds. Labor is not covered on the standard warranty. You can upgrade to 3-year parts and labor coverage for $499 at the time of purchase. Full warranty details are provided with your order.

Can I get a longer warranty that covers labor?

Yes. The standard coverage is 12 months on parts. For $499 you can upgrade to a 3-year warranty that covers both parts and labor, purchased at the time of your order. Ask your specialist to add it when you confirm your part.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?

Shipping is free to a commercial business address or your local freight terminal and typically arrives in 5-7 business days. Residential delivery is $175 and includes a liftgate, a smaller delivery truck and a scheduled appointment. We ship to the lower 48 only.

What is the difference between a remanufactured and a rebuilt engine?

Remanufactured engines have all brand-new internal parts plus all aftermarket and OEM upgrades and updates, whereas rebuilt engines are reconditioned used engines that keep many used parts on them.

What components are included with a used engine?

Accepted Answer

The engine assembly includes the main internal parts - block, head, piston, camshaft, crankshaft - and other components. It does not include the AC compressor, starter, alternator, or power steering pump. Additional parts left on the engine block are included for your convenience but are not covered by warranty.

No - we are an online business with no walk-in sales or local pickup. Our inventory ships from multiple supplier locations, and every order comes with free freight to a commercial address or your local freight terminal instead.
